In the United States the enrollment for men are down everywhere. This might entice males from the Virgin Islands to apply away because they have a better chance to be admitted and offered scholarship money than a girl with the same grades. I think that more women simply stay in the Virgin Islands because it is harder for them to get admitted and receive scholarships to colleges in the US than it is for males with equal credentials.
